Party and State Leaders Offer Incense to Commemorate Martyrs on July 27
(Dan Tri) - On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Party and State leaders, the Ministry of Home Affairs... offered incense to commemorate martyrs at the Bac Son Monument and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.
On the morning of July 26, a delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths, offered incense, and paid tribute to martyrs at the Monument to Martyrs on Bac Son Street, and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026). Attending the ceremony were: General Secretary and President To Lam; Prime Minister Le Minh Hung; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; former President Luong Cuong; former Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, along with many leaders and former leaders of central committees, ministries, and sectors also attended the ceremony. In a solemn atmosphere, the Party and State leaders expressed their remembrance of the nation's outstanding sons who spared no blood and courageously fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.
